  1. Check load size and dryer levelness

    • If the code followed very small or single-item loads, try a normal-size compatible load so items can tumble across the sensing area.
    • Check levelness from a stable cabinet edge or another model-appropriate surface, and adjust only the external leveling feet if the installation instructions permit it.

  2. Use one documented power cycle

    • Switch the dryer breaker off for the interval in the model guidance, restore power, and run a Timed Dry cycle briefly.
    • If F3 E2 or F3 E5 returns with normal loads and a level dryer, request service.

  • Do not open the cabinet or disconnect moisture-sensor wiring as a homeowner test.
  • Do not sand, scrape, or apply abrasive chemicals to sensing strips without exact model instructions.
