What may contribute

Possible causes

  • One or both household water valves may be closed or partly open.
  • An inlet hose, anti-flood device, or drain-hose setup may be restricting normal fill behavior.
  • If external checks are normal, model-specific inlet, sensor, wiring, or control diagnosis may be needed.

  1. Confirm water supply and inlet hoses

    • Make sure both hot and cold valves are fully open and both hoses are connected as required by the model.
    • With the washer stopped, look for visible kinks, crushing, leaks, or reversed hot/cold connections.

  2. Check the visible drain-hose setup

    • Compare the visible hose depth and routing with the installation instructions so it is not sealed into or pushed too far down the standpipe.
    • If the documented F8 E1 / LO FL drain routine begins, let it finish before trying the controls again.
