Start conservatively

Work in order and stop whenever a step is not supported by the documentation for your model.

  1. Stop the affected cooking zone

    • Pause cooking and move hot cookware only when safe.
    • Let the range cool without removing panels or reaching into ventilation openings.

  2. Keep ventilation and controls clear

    • Remove objects or cookware crowding the control area or documented ventilation path.
    • Do not place towels, mats, foil, or other items where airflow is required.

  3. Resume only after cooling

    • Wait until the electronics cool and the message disappears, then touch a normal control as Bosch documents.
    • If the code repeats, stop use of the affected zone and request service.

Actions not recommended

  • Do not open the cooktop or test fans, sensors, wiring, boards, or live voltage.
  • Do not bypass protection or repeatedly restart the zone before it cools.
  • Do not use sprays or liquids to cool the appliance.
