Work in order and stop whenever a step is not supported by the documentation for your model.

  1. Record the exact display and model number

    • Photograph or write down F30 before clearing the display or disconnecting power.
    • Confirm the complete model number and compare the code with the Use & Care guide for that exact appliance before following model-dependent instructions.

  2. Stop cooking and inspect only from the outside

    • Cancel oven and cooktop operation and allow hot surfaces to cool before doing anything else.
    • Look only for obvious external safety symptoms such as smoke, sparking, burning odor, abnormal heat, or visible damage. Do not open the appliance to look for a cause.

  3. Use the documented reset once when conditions are safe

    • If there is no uncontrolled heating, smoke, sparking, burning odor, wet-electrical hazard, or repeated breaker trip, Electrolux documents disconnecting power for up to 30 seconds and then restoring it.
    • If the code remains or returns, stop repeating resets and arrange installer help for a newly installed unit or qualified service for an established installation.

  • Do not perform live-voltage, continuity, resistance, harness, sensor, relay, or control-board tests as a homeowner troubleshooting step.

When to stop and request service

  • Request qualified service if F30 remains or returns after the single manufacturer-documented reset.
  • For a unit installed within the past 30 days, Electrolux directs unresolved cases back to the installer.
