What the appliance detected
Detected condition
The appliance reported a problem in the oven door-lock system.
What may contribute
Possible causes
- The range detected a condition in the oven door-lock system.
- A temporary control state may clear with the manufacturer-documented reset.
- If the code persists, the lock mechanism, sensing, wiring, or control path may require model-specific service, but the code does not isolate one part.
Start conservatively
Safe preliminary checks
Work in order and stop whenever a step is not supported by the documentation for your model.
Record the code and let the oven cool
- Photograph the display and stop cooking or self-clean operation.
- Wait for the oven to cool before attempting any normal unlock action. Never pull on a hot or actively locking door.
Use only the documented unlock control
- On models that present an UNLOCK key or on-screen unlock directions, follow those prompts exactly.
- If the model does not present that control, use the exact owner manual rather than guessing a button sequence.
Use one power reset only when conditions are safe
- If there is no smoke, sparking, burning odor, uncontrolled heating, or repeated breaker trip, Electrolux documents disconnecting power for up to 30 seconds and restoring it.
- If F90, F91, F92, F93, or F94 returns, stop resetting and arrange service.
Actions not recommended
- Do not pry, pull, bend, or manually defeat the oven door latch.
- Do not remove the door, lock motor, control panel, or service covers to chase the fault.
- Do not replace a latch, motor, switch, harness, or control solely from the displayed code.
When to stop and request service
- Request service if the door remains locked after the oven is cool and the documented unlock/reset steps do not work.
- Request service if any F90-F94 code returns after the single supported reset.
- Leave the appliance off for smoke, sparks, burning odor, uncontrolled heating, repeated breaker trips, or visible damage.
