  1. Check only normal airflow and filter condition

    • With the unit off, confirm the filter and visible air openings are not blocked.
    • If the filter is dirty, unplug the unit and clean it according to the model instructions, then let it dry completely before reinstalling.

  2. Try one documented reset

    • Unplug the air conditioner for up to 30 seconds, then reconnect power.
    • If ES returns, request service rather than opening the cabinet or testing sensors.
