What may contribute
Possible causes

- A brief supply interruption may have reset the control.
Start conservatively
Safe preliminary checks
Work in order and stop whenever a step is not supported by the documentation for your model.
Confirm the power event
- Record the exact PF message and full model number.
- Check whether the home recently lost power or the appliance breaker was intentionally switched off.
Clear the message normally
- Press Cancel as JennAir documents.
- If the clock needs attention, use the exact owner manual for the model.
Actions not recommended
- Do not open panels or household wiring to investigate PF.
- Do not repeatedly reset a breaker that trips.
- Do not assume PF proves a failed control board.
When to stop and request service
- PF returns without a known power interruption.
- The breaker trips, power is unstable, or normal operation does not resume.
- Any smoke, sparking, burning odor, gas odor, or uncontrolled heating is present.
