  1. Confirm the Half Load controls for the model

    • Photograph PE and confirm the exact model manual.
    • Do not infer that another button or cycle is equivalent if your model labels the feature differently.

  2. Run the documented Half Load check once

    • Empty the dishwasher.
    • Add automatic-dishwasher detergent and run one Half Load cycle as Samsung directs if there are no leak or electrical hazards.

  3. Power down and request service if PE remains

    • If PE still occurs, switch off power to the dishwasher at the circuit breaker.
    • Arrange Samsung service rather than repeating the test cycle.

Actions not recommended

  • Do not access internal diverter, pump, valve, sensors, or controls.
  • Do not repeatedly run Half Load cycles trying to clear a persistent PE code.
