Samsung Dishwasher tE Error Code

Samsung directs an empty Normal cycle with detergent for tE, then breaker-off and service if the error remains. This is not a homeowner sensor-metering or heater-replacement procedure.

Start conservatively

Work in order and stop whenever a step is not supported by the documentation for your model.

  1. Record the exact tE display

    • Photograph the code before clearing it and confirm the model.
    • Stop for abnormal heat, steam, burning odor, sparks, leakage, or water near electrical parts.

  2. Run the documented empty Normal cycle once

    • Empty the dishwasher.
    • Add automatic-dishwasher detergent and run one Normal cycle if there are no hazard signs, following Samsung’s published guidance.

  3. Switch off power if tE returns

    • If tE still occurs, switch off power to the dishwasher at the circuit breaker.
    • Request Samsung service instead of repeatedly cycling or resetting the appliance.
