  1. Record the code and model before clearing anything

    • Photograph or write down 21E and confirm the full model number and owner manual.

  2. Check door closure and loading

    • Make sure food is not packed so tightly that the doors cannot close completely.
    • Check that the door gaskets make full contact all the way around without removing or adjusting parts.

  3. Protect food if choosing a defrost path

    • Samsung says defrosting is an option if you wish to do it; otherwise request service.
