  2. Stop cooking and check only from the outside

    • Cancel oven and cooktop operation and allow hot surfaces to cool before doing anything else.

  3. Use the documented power reset once

    • If there is no smoke, sparking, burning odor, wet-electrical hazard, or uncontrolled heating, Frigidaire says to disconnect power for up to 30 seconds, then restore it.
    • If the code remains or returns, stop resetting the appliance and arrange service or installer support as Frigidaire directs.

  • Do not remove control panels, rear panels, cooktop panels, or other service covers to chase the code.
