LG Range F27 Error Code

F27 is a cooling-fan fault associated with the high-temperature Self Clean cycle. Stop the cycle, let the appliance cool naturally, do not force a locked door, and request service if the code returns after LG’s documented reset.

Work in order and stop whenever a step is not supported by the documentation for your model.

  1. Stop the cycle and allow full cooling

    • Use the normal controls to stop Self Clean if they respond and keep people and heat-sensitive items away from the appliance.
    • Let the oven cool naturally; the door can remain locked until internal temperature falls to a safe level.

  2. Do not force the door or fan

    • Do not pull on a locked door, defeat the latch, or insert tools through vents to reach a fan.
    • After cooling, record any abnormal scraping, clanking, or burning odor without removing panels.

  3. Reset once after cooling

    • Only after the appliance has cooled and no hazard is present, turn the range circuit breaker off for 30 seconds and restore power once.
    • If F27 returns, do not run Self Clean again until the appliance is serviced.

  • Do not remove fan covers, panels, or oven liners while troubleshooting F27.
