    • Stop if water is uncontrolled, reaches electrical areas, or the access procedure differs from the model manual.

  3. Clean the accessible drain pump filter

    • Open only the user-accessible pump-filter door as the manual directs, lower the pour spout, and remove the filter slowly to control the water flow.
    • Remove debris, reinstall the filter securely, return the pour spout, and close the access door before operating the Combo.

  4. Check the visible drain hose position

    • Confirm the visible drain hose is not kinked or pushed too far into the standpipe.
    • GE says the hose should not be inserted more than 7 inches and needs an air gap around it; stop if correcting it requires unsafe movement or plumbing work.
