Whirlpool Range PF / PF id=27 / PF id=30 Error Code

PF, PF id=27, and PF id=30 report a power-failure event. Whirlpool says Cancel clears the display, and some models may then require the clock to be reset.

  1. Record the message and model

    • Photograph or write down whether the display shows PF, PF id=27, or PF id=30.
    • Confirm the exact model number and owner manual before changing clock or control settings.

  2. Clear the display as Whirlpool documents

    • Press the Cancel pad to clear the power-failure message.
    • On models that require it, reset the time-of-day clock by following the exact owner manual.

  3. Use one power reset only if needed

    • If the message does not clear and the manual supports a power reset, turn off the supplying breaker or fuse for one minute and then restore it.
    • Monitor the appliance for one minute to determine whether the message returns. Do not keep resetting it.
